Jake has been working in the field of personal training since 2014. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the State University of New York at Cortland in 2017. While studying Exercise Science at school, he was a part of Cortland’s Track and Field Team. His love of the sport drove him to become a Decathlete. From his training in ten events, to his studies in exercise science, Jake has an understanding of biomechanics that can help athletes of any age and ability to achieve a higher level of performance in their sport.
After Jake graduated from Cortland he enrolled in the massage therapy program at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy (Albany, NY). As an often-injured athlete, and as a witness of injury as a personal trainer, he wanted to help relieve his clients of pain. Having both an exercise science and massage therapy background allows Jake a special combination of skills as a trainer to understand both performance building and recovery. Jake is very personable, and he loves to push his clients towards meeting their fitness and performance goals.
In addition to offering private and group training sessions at Premier, Jake is looking forward to being Premier's presence at Anders Mattson Golf Academy in Saratoga. As a new member of the Premier Golf + Fitness team, Jake is excited to provide elite exercise programming and prescription to his clients.
